Dear friends! We present you a few photos and videos from the study tour of farmers from the Rasht Valley to the Sughd region, which took place on July 7-9, 2021, as part of the UNDP project “Strengthening the capacity of communities in Khatlon and Rasht regions”.

The study trip was organized by Neksigol Mushovir specialists and included visits to seed, seedling and vegetable farms, processing enterprises and consulting organizations of Khujand and B. Gafurov.

In this training event, farm managers from Rasht, Tajikabad and Lakhsh were introduced to best practices in agricultural production, how to establish business contacts and find markets for their products, including apples, pears and vegetables, and demonstrated how to grow fruit tree seedlings in nurseries, seed production, soil analysis, land preparation for planting, methods for identifying crop pests and preparing vegetables and fruits for sale.
