Within the framework of the UNDP project “Strengthening the capacity of communities in the Khatlon region and the Rasht valley”, mobile youth agro groups were created to provide agricultural services in the region.
To further strengthen the capacity of the established youth agro groups, a study tour was organized to the Sughd region, where the farmers of the Mevahoi Firdavs cooperative conducted master classes on pruning trees, processing crops to protect against pests and shared their experience in farm management with young entrepreneurs from Rasht, Lakhsh and Tajikabad. Also, Neksigol specialists explained to guests how digital solutions for agriculture can help them provide services to farmers to make their agricultural production and trade more efficient, safer and less labour intensive. In addition, representatives of youth agro groups visited the Meroj agro-shops and established business contacts for cooperation.
